KD Signature Pools was built from years of hands-on experience and a shared belief that pool construction could be done better. Kody and Eric began their careers in commercial construction before eventually branching out on their own. Eric founded E&J Onsite, LLC, specializing in excavation, plumbing, electrical work, and hardscaping, while Kody founded KD Signature Construction, LLC, focusing on concrete, decks, fencing, and outdoor construction. Around 2020, their paths crossed again as both companies began subcontracting for pool builders throughout the area.

Working behind the scenes in the pool industry gave them a firsthand look at one of its biggest challenges: when a project passes between multiple subcontractors, communication and coordination can easily break down. Kody and Eric knew there was a better way. They joined forces to provide homeowners with one experienced team that could manage a pool project from beginning to end. In 2024, they partnered with Barrier Reef Fiberglass Pools, bringing together quality fiberglass pools with the construction experience and diverse trades they already had in-house.

Today, KD Signature Pools, LLC handles the major phases of pool construction—from excavation and utilities to installation, concrete, decking, fencing, hardscaping, and the finishing details. By keeping the process under one team, Kody and Eric are able to provide better communication, greater accountability, and a smoother experience from the first design conversation to the finished backyard.
